Plunge and fans
at Spankys in Leesburg
|
SPRING 2004
On the studio front,
the new record is coming along swimmingly, with late summer as a
tentative time frame for release. The band recently recorded a
couple of tracks with a great producer and engineer, Drew Mazurek, who
just completed some work with Linkin Park. Check out the singles page to
hear a sneak preview!
On the live front,
the band has been packin' the house at Spanky's Shenanigans in Leesburg,
Ned Devine's in Fairfax and Herndon, and Fox Chase Tavern in Lowes
Island. Check the shows page for more info. Thanks to everyone who is
coming out and showing the love.
The new Plunge T-shirts are
still available now on the merch page!
They are very cool, surfy looking 100cotton Hanes Beefy-T's in
stonewashed blue and pine green. We have sold a bunch of these at shows
already. Supplies are limited, so grab 'em while they're hot! The Plunge baseball hats are
also still available. Black and tan – gotta have one.
Peace and always much
love,
The Plunge
About
the Band...
Since its formation in the fall of 1994, the band's grass-roots growth has been excellent. The PLUNGE has released two full length CDs, two EPs, and has appeared at
numerous clubs, colleges and festivals, including shows in front of audiences of over 3,000 in the
Washington DC area. The momentum is constantly growing.
The Plunge is stopping at nothing until they reach their ultimate goal a hit record, and to make a mark on a national or international level.
A new album is currently in
the works. "I'm a Freak," and "Your Friend" are the first two cuts, and they
have been receiving excellent response from audiences.
